What About Jesus?

Lenten Midweek Worship
February 14 - March 21, 2018
The Letter to the Hebrews calls Jesus our "Great High Priest." This Lenten season, we will  explore this powerful name of Christ and rediscover the perfect life of compassion, service, and sacrifice that Jesus lived for us. We will see that Christ serving as our Great High Priest is assurance of our redemption through him alone and motivation for humble service in his name.

Sermon and Service Themes
- Ash Wednesday/Midweek 1: Jesus Is Our Great High Priest
- Midweek 2: Jesus Is Our Perfect High Priest
- Midweek 3: Jesus Is Our Compassionate High Priest
- Midweek 4: Jesus Is Our Self-Sacrificing High Priest
- Midweek 5: Jesus Our Great High Priest Serves at a Great Altar
- Midweek 6: Jesus Our Great High Priest Makes Us Priests
- Maundy Thursday: Jesus Our Great High Priest Is the Mediator of the New Covenant

Theology on Tap

The next 6-week session of Theology on Tap will once again be dedicated to the discussion of skeptical questions and well-loved Gospel accounts which may help us think through some of the current questions in the present culture and prepare us to make a defense to anyone who asks us about the hope that is in us; and to do so with courtesy and respect. This is an informal Bible Study for anyone who is interested. It will begin on Sunday evening March 11th at 7:00 p.m. The location will be Bosses Pizza on Rufe Snow.

Wednesday Evening Bible Study to Begin

Following the Lenten season we will begin Wednesday evening Bible Study at the church. The study will begin on April 18th at 7:00 p.m. The topics will vary and the study will be application focused. Please plan now to attend.
