What About Jesus?

Leaving The Gay Lifestyle
For God’s Grace
Next Sunday, Scott Barefoot will be here to discuss his struggle to overcome homosexuality and his efforts to help others who are struggling either personally, as a friend, or a family member of someone who is struggling. Scott is a WELS member living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has written about this: My Cross to Bear, and “Desperate for God” in the WELS magazine Forward in Christ.  Scott also co-authored the 2014 NPH book: "Forgive Us Our Sins - Homosexuality In The Light Of God's Truth" and contributed to the Westbow Press book: “Rainbow Savior”. He was also recently interviewed on The Christian Television Network.  Over the past several years, he has traveled extensively, sharing his story with many WELS & ELS congregations, pastors’ conferences, high schools, colleges, and seminaries.
Scott will share his personal perspective on this timely topic as well as God’s word and some commonly quoted scripture passages that defenders of homosexuality tend to try and twist to their will. At the end of his presentation there will be a question and answer period for the group as well.
This is a unique opportunity to receive a powerful perspective on a topic that is in the headlines daily. You are all invited to come and bring those who you feel might benefit from this information. You may also find more information about Scott and the work he does at his website www.POGLutherans.org
Scott will be sharing his story and message locally at:
